Picking Art by Tonya Ramagos
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Artist Suzanne Cassidy is sitting in a bar waiting for the person she is meeting to show up, when she finds an unexpected muse across the bar. Intrigued by the man, who ordinarily is not her type, she sketches him while she waits.
Rockstar Garrett Henry is used to fans gawking at him, but something is different when it comes to the blonde beauty glancing his way. As if an invisible string was between them, he finds himself pulled into an undeclared relationship with Suzanne who has no experience with men. Garrett knows he should walk away, leaving her intact, but every fiber of his being says she is supposed to be with him. The only hurdle in their way is their lack of communication when it comes to their feelings, if they can put their fears aside they maybe able to hold onto to their love for one another.
Enjoyable read, I liked Garrett a lot. He is not your typical rockstar persona that you usually read about. I was a little conflicted on Suzanne and her rationalization which was conflicted sometimes in the story.
