Theme Day: Hidden Identity

There are some terrific books where the main character has kept their identity hidden from the heroine.     Some are undercover, some of their reason for anonymity, some are rich and tired of being played.  Regardless these are intriguing stories with a ton of surprises and  perfect remedy for spending a quiet afternoon.  A few of my favorites:

Wild Man (Dream Man, #2)See Jane Score (Chinooks Hockey Team, #2)All Or Nothing (Harlequin Blaze #417)

Mystery Man (Dream Man, #1)Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gwendolyn Kidd has held a secret for the past year and a half, she has a lover who started off as a one night stand. They don't talk and she never knows if it will be the last time she sees him or if he will return in the dark of the night another day.

When all hell breaks loose, thanks to her out of control sister, Ginger, Gwen finds herself seeking out her sister's biker boyfriend DOG. Dog makes it clear that he and Ginger are through and to stay away, but when she catches the eye of the bike groups leader Tack he makes it clear she is under his protection. Protection from what she is uncertain, but when her mystery lover shows up at her house she realizes she maybe in over her head.

Cabe "Hawk" Delgado vowed never to let someone get close again, but his time with Gwen has just taken a sudden turn. He has watched her from afar and savored their moments together but now he is seeing that his lover is full of spit and vineagar, she rambles, has a temper, and an unhealthy obsession with cookie dough. With danger knocking on her door and men circling ready to claim her, Hawk makes it clear he is the only man in her life. Problem is, Gwen has decided she doesn't like the bossy, arrogant man he is and tries to give him the brush off, but a few moist kisses has her going week at the knees and right into Hawk's arms.

This was a recomendation and wow, it should have come with a warning. There are a few chapters that had me overheating, I am talking about pure animal magnetism scorches the page...yowza. Highly recommend, can't wait to try more from this author.
