Katie Smith has been waiting for the day when she could finally act on her instinct and have Jordan Pride as her mate. Jordan has fought tooth and nail to keep his distance from being romantic with Katie, now that he has been infected with the werewolf virus, he is regretting that he never made a move on her.
Katie knows the only chance Jordan has against fighting the virus is if they mate, but the mating could kill her as well. Katie wont back down though when it comes to challenging Jordan to mate her, if it means saving his life she will do whatever she can to protect him. Katie doesn't realize though that she has a stalker who plans to claim her for himself and if Jordan doesn't step up he could lose her forever.
I have been waiting anxiously for Katie and Jordan's story and although it was terrific, I felt like a bit of the spark that was so present in books 1 & 2 was missing a bit of it's zing in this one.
