Just Right by Erin Nicholas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
ER nurse Jessica Bradford is the epitome of a hard worker in control of everything she touches, although on the surface it appears that way, inside she is often lonely but her past mistakes continue to drive her to set a positive standard for others. Jessica does entertain one revolving fantasy though, that of Dr. Ben Torres, the man oozes sex appeal and bad boy status, and Jessica can’t seem to get him out of her mind.
Ben has had a crush on Jessica since he caught her bent over and a glimpse of the sexy thong that she had hidden underneath her scrubs. Many of lonely nights have been entertained by what else she is hiding within. When Ben lashes out at a patient, he is ready to walk away since the possibility of lawsuit seems a definite, but Jessica is called in to keep an eye on Ben and finds out that the man she had put on a pedestal of hero status is quite different and if she is not careful, she is going to fall hook, line and sinker in love with him.
The first in the Bradford series. I liked that Ben is having a bit of a melt down, he is at a crossroads in his life and although he rationalizes his decision, he is struggling with the outcome. Jessica goes for quite a transformation as she takes a walk on the wild side, the way Ben gets her out of her comfort zone is often hilarious. Wonderful start to the series.
