Theme Day: Writers

I thought it would be fun to showcase stories that one or more of the characters are writers.  I always like these stories, sometimes it is a a surprise that they can write about something they know nothing about which can lead to a hilarious story.  Here are a few I have enjoyed.





Sex, Lies, and Online Dating by Rachel Gibson

Lucy is a mystery writer who is currently writing about a female serial killer who is strangling her online victims. When she meets Quinn hoping he will be the last of the dates she is using for research, she is surprised by the attraction she feels for him and his ability to break through and touch her heart. What Lucy doesn't know is Quinn is a homicide detective and Lucy is his number one suspect.

Clever and very funny, Lucy has had a string of bad boyfriends and thinks she sees something in Quinn, while Quinn is playing his part he finds it difficult to keep it business as usual especially when he is looking at suspected murderer Luc.
