Club Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair

Club Shadowlands (Masters of the Shadowlands, #1)Club Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Stuck in the middle of nowhere, with her car out of commission Jessica Randall finds herself banging on the door of a house that has it's own secrets. Wanting to use the phone for help, she stumbles upon a private bondage club where straight laced Jessica's curiosity comes out to play.

Master Z offers two options, she can wait out the storm in the entry way or she can partake in what the club has to offer. Z has not been moved in a long while, like he has with Jessica. Something about her fresh innocence along with her stubborn nature has him hoping she is willing to expand on the desire he sees building in her eyes.

This was good, a bit dark but the one thing I thought stood out is at no time did Master Z try to influence Jessica. He is matter of fact and allows her to make the decisions on what she needs, but when she does submit he is fully in charge.

  1. Em, I think this is the lightest in the series and my favorite. I really love Z. Cherise's later books in Shadowlands get really dark. That's when the whips and chains come out in full force.
