He Loves Lucy by Ann Yost
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Lucy Outlaw has a way of having catastrophes happen when she is around. It’s not like she intends for it to happen, it just does. She knows Sheriff Jake Langley is questioning his sanity with having Lucy be the faux nanny for two weeks for his twins, but she has tried her best in everything she has done. So what if there was an incident at a play, or that there are some dishes tuna is not meant to be in, she has fallen for him and only has two weeks to get a feel for what it would be like if she was really his wife.
Jake shouldn’t be having the feelings he has for Lucy, she’s too young for him. He can’t help it if his libido disagrees but he needs a wife to stop meddling grandparents from trying to get custody of his kids. Even though he has fought it tooth and nail, he realizes he is going to marry Lucy. Now he has to convince Lucy to be his bride, if he doesn’t muddle it up along the way.
