Janie Morris is having that one day a year that you cannot erase. She woke up to find out her boyfriend had cheated on her and upon careful reflection she realized it didn't bother her. She lost her job because of downsizing and the security guard sent to escort her out, aka Sir McHotpants has witnessed it all. Of course like any normal girl she would walk away with her head held up high, of course Janie is not that girl, she decides to share some of the trivial facts she knows with Sir McHotpants instead.

Now Sir McHotpants, aka Quinn Sullivan, happens to be everywhere Janie seems to be. Janie finds herself having a hard time reading Quinn though, one moment he cracks a smile and the next he is intense and unreadable. No one ever accused Janie of being oblivious, but Quinn is having a hard time reading Janie's very mixed signals, until he figures her out and comes up with a plan that will completely unravel everything she thought she knew about men.

Loved, loved, loved this story. It is laugh out loud funny and Janie is clueless but oh so smart. Quinn is a bit mysterious, broody, and oh so delicious. Excellent story, definitely would be reread worthy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

SEX! It all started with sex, between my parents. Personally I don’t like thinking about it, but whatever works for you is a-ok with me. No judgment. The sex happened in California and much of my life also occurred in that state until I moved from the land of nuts (almonds), wine, silicon… boobs, and heavy traffic to the southeast US. Like most writers I like to write, but let’s get back to sex. Eventually I married and gave birth to 2 small people-children (boy-5, girl-3 as of this writing).

By day I’m a biomedical researcher with focus on rare diseases. By night I’m a knitter, sewer, lino block carver, fabric printer, soap maker, and general crafter. By the wee hours of the morning or when I’m intoxicated I love to listen to the voices in my head and let them tell me stories. I hope you enjoy their stories.
