Pastry Chef Daniela Rossi is feeling empty inside.  After her last birthday her passion for baking has fizzled until she happens upon a homeless child and is inspired to try and pay it forward.  Wanting to buy a building she feels would be perfect renovated into a soup kitchen.  Everything seems to be going as planned, until the building she wants has another offer.

Nico Cruz has his own personal reasons he wants the building.  He knows Daniela Rossi's reputation for being a live wire, but nothing is going to stop him from acquiring the building.  Meeting Daniela in person though is an experience he will never forget, she is passionate, seductive and has him anxious for their next meeting.  It is a battle of the wills for the building, but all is fair in love and war.

Humorous story, the chemistry between Daniela and Nico is off the charts hot. I loved Daniela and her hot tempered Italian blood, she had me laughing out loud on her reactions to things she didn't like.  Can't wait for the next book in the series.
