Nate begins to see a different side to Jenni when she seeks out her birth mother, but Nate is not ready to let go of his pain of losing his fiancée because he feels responsible. Jenni is falling for her boss, but his mixed signals has her questioning if he can ever move forward or will continue to live in the past.
