Gray's Girl by Mina Carter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Rugby star Leighton Gray has worked hard for everything he has. While he may come off as broody and introverted, he really is quite completely opposite. When he overhears his best friend trying to set his sister up on a date with one of the other players, Gray knows no one else is going to take her out but him. The woman he has crushed on for all these years is finally available and he plans to nab the chance at finding out if she truly is the one.
I liked this, it had an intense quality to it. Gray is pretty domineering and Frankie Cross is a woman who has been dumped, cheated on, and lacking in self confidence. Gray doesn't see any of that though which is difficult for Frankie to absorb especially the age difference. Another great read by Mina Carter.
