April: Dangerous Heroes

For the month of April, I thought it would be fun to showcase some of my favorite Dangerous Heroes. These are men who will let nothing stand in the way of the job they need to do.  Often arrogant, rugged, with a hint of danger they keep there feelings deeply hidden, until they find that one person who sees through the facade.

"A great story, couldn’t put it down."

When Detective Michael Carven opens the door to rustle up the horse trainer he hired while he helps assist on a serial killer case, he finds himself starting at a beautiful woman instead. When he finds out he has hired Jessica “Jess” Stanson, believing she was a man he immediately tries to let her go not wanting to be constantly reminded of the attraction that had instantly set in, but the fiery tempered Jess will have none of it refusing to be let go....
