Review:

The sounds of click, click, click fell into place as Grace Palmer realized her husband was having an affair.  Not only has he been with sleeping with someone else, it's her friend and client.  Deciding she is not ready to talk it out and make decisions, she flees to the little village of Saffron Sweeting.  Grace finds herself making friends, helping others save their businesses and reassessing what is truly important in her life.

I thought this was a unique story, when we meet Grace she is married and just beginning to launch her career, but you also get that she has been kind of floundering trying to find her way.  I liked that she was a real character and reacted as I think many in the same situation would react.  Refreshing and inspirational, I really found Grace identifiable and relished every moment of her journey.

Seeing Shannon Garrity is a bolt to his libido and there is no doubt in his mind that the baby is his.  He never forgot the one night they shared, but never had her name t chase after her.  Now Shannon is not so sure she wants him in their life, but Nolan is determined to show Shannon he can be a good father and if she will open her heart, the ideal man.

Sizzling hot story.  Nolan feels out of sorts with the idea of being a father and how to handle Shannon who is clearly cautious of his intentions.  He comes up with a plan to woo her, but as a man who is used to getting his way he has his work cut out for him.  Can't wait to read more more from this author.

Best-Selling Erotica Author Alexx Andria Gets Personal

Often readers ask, “How much of you is in your stories?” and I always answer with a coy smile because fantasy is a large component of what I create as an erotica author. However, with that said, there is a certain level of truth located within the pages and I’m not talking about the crazy, kinky stuff that sometimes shows up in my stories. I’m talking about the raw characterization that creates the basis of the characters. Each of them is a part of me, somewhere – even if it’s not surface deep. I never write about something that doesn’t ring true for me at some level. Although I’m not eyeing my step-siblings for a little nooky, I find the taboo aspect of that relationship very hot and that’s a part of me.

I love Alpha men and the way they take command in the bedroom — and in truth, I like a man with a strong presence and undeniable skill as well — so writing about them seems quite natural. There is a saying among erotica writers, if it doesn’t turn your crank in some way, don’t expect to be able to write about it and turn someone else’s crank. It doesn’t have to be “write what you know” but you should find whatever you’re putting out there incredibly hot for yourself.

But if you’re a fan of my work you’ll have noticed by now that it’s not all about the sex when I write my stories. In fact, sometimes I find myself starting a short story and then my brain starts naturally expanding the story to greater characterization heights, which deepens the reading experience for the reader, but then it makes it difficult to let go.

My Billionaire Brothers series was an unexpected joy to write not only because the characters were so layered and deep but because the fans simply clamored for more. When I finished the six-part series, I knew there was going to be sequels because the fans couldn’t get enough and when that happens, their joy feeds an author and creates a hunger for more. So, here I am, plotting out Vince’s story and, lo and behold, a new character has emerged (details are still sketchy but I can feel him in my bones as someone to watch) who is a part of the private club the brothers own, Malvagio.

Romantic story told via online email,  Renee Greene is rapidly approaching her thirtieth birthday and with it she is still single.  When one of her closest friends suggests they join an online dating site, the results are hilariously charming.  With the help of her friends, Renee manages to find Mr. Right, but there are a few ugly toads along the way. 

I thought this was refreshingly different and realistic.  I could easily imagine the different characters, don’t we all know someone that matches the personalities?  You have Mark who likes to dot his I’s and cross his t’s, Shelley who doesn’t discriminate when it comes to the opposite sex, in fact she embraces it,  Ashley who has an opinion on everything, and our  lead Renee who is a bit unsure and treasures her friend’s opinions.  Wonderfully original.

Double Click

Six months later we pick up where Renee and Ethan  left off continuing their relationship.  Mark finally has a date,  a there is a baby on the way, and a slight change to one of our favorites make for another entertaining story by Lisa Becker.    

I enjoyed the follow up story to Click.  Written in email form, it was just as delightful as the first book.  I think Ethan becomes even more swoon worthy, he is a romantic and very thoughtful where Renee is concerned.  Yes they endure hiccups, but the relationship has a very natural feel to it.  Look forward to reading more from this author.
