Theme Day: Pregnancy

Pregnancy can be part of a plot in a variety of different ways, unexpected or planned, they can set the pace  for some fantastic reading.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Nobody's Baby But Mine (Chicago Stars, #3)Slade (New Species, #2)Worth the Scandal (Worth It, #1)

A Mistake, a Prince and a PregnancyA Mistake, a Prince and a Pregnancy by Maisey Yates
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alison Whitman was elated when she saw the pink line confirming her pregnancy, her carefully planned entry to motherhood was going smoothly until she received a call from the clinic she received the donation from. It appeared that the donation she received, was the wrong donor, in fact he wasn't a donor at all.

Widower Maximo Rossi, Prince of Turan is stunned by the woman who has asked him to undergo a genetic test for the child she is carrying. All of his hopes of becoming a parent felt like lost dreams when his wife died, now he has renewed hope. Maximo quickly ensues himself into Alison's life and his first plan of action is to get her to marry him and keep her in his bed.

Enjoyable story, I liked this one quite a bit. You felt for both characters as they begin to fall for each other but try denying it, even to themselves.
