Review
Ever Montgomery could blame the fact that her dad walked out on her and her mother for her inability to trust. She could also blame her ex-fiancee for reiterating why men are jerks and cannot be trusted. However, when she writes a blasphemous article calling out Lincoln Caldwell as a well oiled sex machine and constantly on the prowl, that she can blame on herself if only she would admit she was wrong.

Linc is furious with Ever, they met once and had a nice interview, he cannot understand what happened within twenty four hours to write such a venomous piece on him. Linc devises a plan, Ever is going to be in his company for six weeks learning about the man he really is and then she can write a fact based article telling the truth.

The assignment is straight to the point, but Ever never expected to find that Linc was a really good guy. When the attraction grows between them, Ever is confused by Linc's unwillingness to take the next step. What she doesn't understand is that Linc is falling hard for her and he wants more from her than a few nights in bed.

Delicious read, I thought Linc was a sweetheart. He could have made Ever's life hell but he is willing to give her a second chance. Ever I felt for, she doesn't want to be hurt again making her heart slightly fractured, but she is tempted where Linc is concerned. Highly entertaining.

Sawyer Bennett is the pen name for a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn't have many weakness but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.
