Chris Jackson arrives at the scene of a fire to find his ex-fiancé Ally Gallant trying to save the animals in her shelter. Every emotion he had for her comes rushing back in an instant and has him torn between walking away or trying again with the only woman he ever loved. As a tender moment reveals both still have strong feelings for one another, they both realize they have misjudged one another. Ally though has reservations about committing to a man whose life will always be in danger or does she follow her heart and a chance at happiness.
