Even though Tucker Creed promised he would come back for Sylvie Bissenette it never happened and her life took a path that would have broke many, but not Sylvie. When Knight hires Creed to do an investigation, he doesn't realize that Creed was Sylvie's Creed. Sylvie wants nothing to do with Creed, but Creed is determined to get Sylvie back, all of her.

I struggled with this one, not sure why maybe my mood but I just didn't connect like I wanted to. That being said, I will reread it and try again later and probably adore it. I did this with Knight and then reread and gave it a higher rating.
