Book Description:

It didn’t matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half.  But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

Elle is dating the ideal man, so why does she look for excuses to head home instead of spending the night with him?  When Elle is asked to look at MMA fighter Nico Hunter's contract, she can't stop herself from staring, something about the bad boy whose body is riddled with tattooed has her body singing for just a touch.  She realizes what she has been missing.

Nico knows there is something special about Elle the first time he meets her.  Putting his self control to the test, he decides he is going to take his time with Elle, but doesn't realize that both are carrying around baggage and in order for them to be together, they have to work through it.

The chemistry in this story was intense.  Nico is a hard man, he is soft as well and oh so fascinating.  There is one scene in the book that I absolutely fell in love with this character, he becomes an instant favorite.  Elle is a stunner, but with Nico she is not always the one calling the shots which leads to a dynamic story.  Excellent read.

About the Author

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn't change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work.  She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting smut author by night!
