Shifters Carson and Sam Quarry have been working at the Double R, trying to keep out of sight after fleeing when their father was killed. Little do they realize the man who threatened them and their mother, has found them and is getting close to the one woman they both want Desiree Jensen.

Desiree Jensen has her own style of trouble, she is slow to trust and conflicted by her feelings for both Carson and Sam. They both have let her know they want her and it scares her, but she also feels like they are worthy of her trust. With Remy reentering the scene though, there is trouble brewing and the three will have to decide how best to handle it.
